進化論は、キリスト教圏と日本でインパクトが全く異なり、場合によっては進化論を正当化するための説明を延々と読まされることになるため、洋書には要注意だ。その点、この本はその辺りの事情を全く省いており、純粋に進化の仕組み自体を学べる。なかなかよい。
The theory of evolution has very different implications for Christian civilizations from us. Sometimes western books bore us with lots of philosophical justifications for it. This book is, however, very concise and gets to the point. Interesting.
