いわゆる恐竜の解説。かなり専門的で、特段難しいわけではないが、子ども向きではない。VSIにありがちなことで、図版が少なく、半分くらいは研究史。あとは恐竜の生理や生態をわずかな手がかりから再構成していく作業の紹介で、深い世界ではあるが、一般にはウケないかな。
A very academic book. Half of the book consists of a history of the research. The other half consists of researchers' trial of reconstructing dinosaurs' physiology, modes of living etc. Few pictures, as is often the case with this series.
